I have a “copy” of Sony Vegas...seems to work well! Haven’t used it in a long time though!

Adobe Premiere Pro because it works well in tandem with the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite.

Premier Pro is the way to go but if you can’t afford it, and it is pricey, Davinci Resolve and HitFilm 3 Express are both good and free.

Shotcut. It’s free, and can do everything WMM can do and more. It’s got a whole suite of filters and effects.

Adobe Master Collection CS6, Premiere Pro.

I have a degree in TV and Digital Media, and for the more basic to moderately advanced user, Premiere is fantastic, Ill just say that it has a massive amount of flexibility.

If youre only producing for web or your own projects, Premiere is the answer. If youre going for the film industry or tv industry, you need to move to Avid and Pro Tools. No getting around it.

Premiere and Vegas. AfterEffects is nice to have as well for special effects and certain things.
